Volunteers

Sailability Toronto is 100% volunteer-run, and we are always on the lookout for more. You don't need to have sailing experience, there are plenty of on-shore jobs to do.  The only pre-requisite is empathy and respect for our members, and a current Working With Children Check.  You must also be triple-vaxxed against Covid.

Membership

Volunteers need to complete
1. a Volunteer Membership Application Form 
2. an Indemnity Form
3. a Working with Children Check

 

Annual Volunteer Fee - $20
This covers:

• Season membership of Sailability NSW for insurance

• Season membership of Sailability Toronto Branch

The fee is payable by cash, cheque or direct deposit

Attendance Register
Volunteers and visitors on site or on the adjacent jetty or waters of Lake Macquarie must sign the Attendance Register on arrival and sign off when leaving.  This is essential for insurance purposes.
